If you're worried about the physical training that is involved during boot camp, it is true that you would be better of getting yourself into shape before arriving at Parris Island. I will outline some amazing marine training tips that you can use that will make your training at boot camp much easier especially when it comes to the physical aspect.
- First of all, I want you to run 35 miles Monday Wednesday and Friday. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, I want you to use the elliptical equipment at the gym for at least 45 minutes.
- With respect to ensuring that you're able to pass the required number of pull-ups during boot camp, I want you to train with light dumbbells to ensure that you strengthen your chest muscles, your arm muscles and your shoulder muscles. Attempt to accomplish ten pyramid pull-ups each and every day.
- You also have to make sure that your abdominal muscles are very strong. This will ensure that you have less problems with your back over the period of the 13 weeks that you will have to dedicate to boot camp. In the beginning, just complete around 100 crunches a day until you're able to do at least 300 crunches per session.
- Since there is a lot of hiking a lot of trekking involved during boot camp, I want you to start hiking each day for around 30 minutes.
